Domaine du Météore – Le Cratère Méthode Traditionelle Rosé BIO
Pale salmon pink in colour with distinctive copper highlights. The nose is delicate with aromas of redcurrant and strawberry
alongside a hint of citrus fruit and white pepper. On the palate, red fruits dominate with a beautiful finesse of the bubbles leading to a smooth and fresh taste with excellent balance and an elegant saline finish.

The base wine is pressed directly, and Domaine du Météore select the most aromatic and delicate juices for controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine is bottled. Then a sweet liqueur de tirage and specific yeasts for a second alcoholic fermentation is added in the bottle. It is during this stage that the wine becomes finely sparkling. Finally, the bottles are disgorged (expulsion of the yeasts), and a liqueur d’expédition is added before the final corking.
Terroir: 0,4ha of vineyard at the bottom of a meteorite crater, surrounded by a Mediterranean oak forest. Blue schist and alluvial soil.
