Domaine du Météore – Carignides Vin de France Rouge BIO 2020
Intense garnet colour. On the nose, notes of peppermint, grey pepper and lemon thyme mingle with the purity of fresh black fruit. Very well balanced on the palate, lined with powdery tannins.

VINIFICATION
To make this wine Domaine du Météore vinifies 30 % whole bunches and 70 % destemmed grapes in the same tank. The intra-pellicular fermentation that takes place in the whole bunches brings the necessary roundness and fruitiness to soften the Carignan wine, which can sometimes be a bit rustic. The result is a very round wine with explosive black fruit aromas and silky tannins. Aged in steel tanks for 18 months.
